Rijksmuseum - Amsterdam

The Rijksmuseum is believed to be one of the treasures of Amsterdam and is a stop that everyone must make in order to truly enjoy the country. The exhibits they have include paintings from the 17th century Golden Age period featuring artists like Vermeer, Rembrandt, Jan Steen, and Frans Hals.

Rembrandt’s “Night Watch” is the museum’s centerpiece. You’ll also find works from the Middle Ages and the 18th and 19th centuries, superb collections of silver and delftware ceramics, old doll’s houses and fantastic examples of Asian Art.

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens in Jacksonville, Florida was first opened in 1961. It is most famous for the beautiful gardens that are displayed and full of exotic flowers and walkways that allow you to better view and relax as you walk your way through.

The collection that is housed in the museum focuses on the history of art and has exhibits that cover over the many years. They go as far back as the ancient times and span all the way to the 20th century. Temporary exhibits are also presented throughout the year.
